BORN SOLDIER
- The Amadeus is a highly exclusive party reserved for high-profile missions including but not limited to hostage rescue, negotiation, infiltration, recon of extraterrestrial entities, and espionage. It is composed of the most elite members of Sionade's already top-notch, privately funded military. On top of their commissioned or non-commissioned ranks, it's members are also deemed "Consigns", abbreviated Csa. (So, for example, Consign General Kia.)
- The Amadeus originally stemmed from a QRF of one of the most prestigious and wisest leaders, Henry J. Sterns, a former chief who had defected from the U.S. Space Seals to in order to serve as a general for Sionade's private military. Forty years he remained on contract until his untimely death at age 60 in the battle against a privateering fleet. It is tradition that new members of the Amadeus sing to his name as initiation rights; the number 40 is a common totem alongside the Consign insignia. Forty is considered a full lifetime's service, and to manage somehow to go beyond, let alone achieve forty years, is considered a highly significant honor.
- All members of the Amadeus are virtually deceased, phantoms to the old worlds they lived in. Their presence is highly coveted by those who rule Sionade, and members must always present themselves as no more than shadows to the public. They are sworn to a life of secrecy. Each member is expected to cast aside their old names for the new life they will now lead, their new pseudonyms often passed onto them in a similar manner by which Native Americans named those who came of age.
